Refugees and internally displaced persons

Detailed UNHCR statistics for the full period: Ukrainian refugees abroad, asylum-seekers, IDPs inside Ukraine, and related categories since 2014 (Crimea / Donbas) and after the full-scale invasion in 2022.

Figures are UNHCR end-year stocks for persons originating from Ukraine — not annual flows, but people counted in each category at year-end. Categories follow different methodologies (refugees, temporary protection / other, IDPs). Data is stored in the server database and refreshed by sync.
